As a physiotherapy graduate from McGill University, Tiana began her practice in Montréal, Quebec gaining experience in a sport therapy private clinic where she worked alongside well-known and advanced senior physiotherapists. Tiana has further specialized her practice in concussion rehabilitation, completing seminars offered by University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre and through ImPACT. She currently works in a functional neurology clinic and is being mentored in this field. Tiana bases her physiotherapy treatments on hands-on manual therapy techniques. She brings a wealth of athletic knowledge, experience and understanding of the body and incorporates this into every treatment. She is currently working through her levels of manual therapy and has ambitions to begin her doctorate in functional neurology in Winter 2014.
Outside of physiotherapy Tiana is trained in a number of disciplines including classical dance, Muay Thai, professional wrestling, yoga, aerial gymnastics, and has completed certifications to teach many of these disciplines. She is bilingual in French and English. Tiana truly believes in the individuality of each patient’s body and works to identify the root cause of pain or discomfort by combining Eastern philosophy of mind-body connection with Western treatment techniques.
