Mariana Paz
Mariana Paz is a dedicated physiotherapist specializing in pain management, injury rehabilitation, posture, mobility, and movement. With a strong focus on musculoskeletal and orthopedic physiotherapy, Mariana takes a personalized, hands-on approach to helping patients understand their condition, reduce pain and regain strength and confidence in their movement.
Mariana earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University. She is certified in the McKenzie Method (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) and has additional training in muscle scraping, soft tissue release and ergonomic assessment. Her clinical interests include back and neck pain, sciatica, sports and work-related injuries, posture-related conditions and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy.
Her philosophy is centered on treating the root cause, not simply the symptoms, while giving patients the knowledge and tools they need to take an active role in their recovery.
Patient feedback frequently highlights Mariana’s thorough assessments, personalized treatment plans, clear explanations and caring approach. Patients have described feeling listened to and supported while working toward meaningful improvements in pain, mobility, strength and function.
Beyond one-on-one patient care, Mariana has experience supporting workplace wellness through ergonomic assessments, posture and stretching education, and wellness presentations.
Mariana’s goal is simple: to help people feel better, move better and stay active for the long run.
