Hey FitStudios family, Coach Stephen here, the resident strength and rehab expert at FitStudios.

When coaching clients, a common explanation as to why something can't be done is that "I don't have time".

I don't have time to workout.

I don't have time to eat healthy.

I don't have time to myself.

This means that you tend to workout only when something in your existing schedule opens up and you get handed a block of time. This is great when it happens, but it's inconsistent.

If you really want to get something done, it's on YOU to create a block of time to do it. Nobody else is going to do it for you and if you wait for something to open up, you're going to be waiting a long time.

The point is that you may have to wake up early to free up an extra hour or use your time more efficiently during the day, or maybe condense part of your schedule to do this, but it's more than worth it.

You can have that hour to workout, or that time to prepare some healthy meals, or just get some extra quality time with the people that matter most to you.

Think about this the next time you say or think that you don't have time for something, because at the end of the day nothing will change if you don't change something.

To your good health,

Coach Stephen
